A Bit of History

Larksong is widely regarded as one of the first signs of spring and approaching good weather.

The belief was that if the Lark sang on St Brigid’s day, February 1st, the coming spring would be pleasant and bountiful, the day itself would be sunny and that anyone who heard the lark sing would have good luck throughout the year.
