A Bit of History

In Irish folklore, the Heron is a symbol of vigilance. Little wonder, if you have ever observed one patiently standing by the edge of a stream waiting for dinner to come along.

Legend has it that where the Heron flew, the weather followed, so if a Heron flew south, cold weather would follow. If it flew north, good weather was on the way.
