Just over ten years ago, we decided to decamp from Dublin to Ireland’s smallest city, Kilkenny. The kids were small then and it was the perfect time to make a new start in a new town. It had always been a favourite spot to visit, with its castle, cathedrals and medieval alleyways. I’ve probably drawn ever corner of the city by now, but when it came to the poster, I decided I wanted to give a flavour of the place rather than any specific view. I hope I’ve captured a little of what makes it special.
