County Wicklow and Powerscourt gardens

Out through the wooded hills of wicklow, slinking past the quaint little village of Enniskerry and up to the top of the hill. A right turn takes you through the gates and along the tree lined avenue as you make your sedate way past the big house and then in through the side entrance. Beyond its marbled halls you stumble out onto the graveled terrace ..and suddenly the vista opens up like a panoramic theatre set. There’s the Sugarloaf mountain and below it Triton lake and the two Pegasuses, Pegasi, Pegai? Who knows?
