Connemara has cast its spell over visitors for centuries. It may no longer be a world long vanished, but the ever-changing light and the wild mountainsides and beaches continue to enthrall. One of my favourite places are the lakes between Maam Cross and Roundstone. On the poster I’ve included the island of Scots Pines on Derryclare lake as you veer west towards Ballynahinch Castle.
