This poster of Cork was inspired by Markus Schneider’s poster from the sixties for Basel, Switzerland. I tried to get into it the iconic buildings of the city, both old and new and a little sense of its winding hills while I was at it. As always, there’s never room for everything, but I found space for the fishmonger from the English market who had my son in stitches using a lobster as a ventriloquist’s dummy!
