My intention is to keep adding to the collection. I’m constantly out sketching and drawing this fascinating country of ours and I hope in time to have a poster for each county, north and south and for most of the larger towns in between.

A bit of history

The first lighthouse at Howth head was goes back as far as 1667 and was originally built higher up on the hill. Constantly lost in mist, a decision was made to move the lighthouse south along the headland to Little Baily, or Duncriffin. There are great views of the lighthouse along the cliff walk from all directions. I chose the view coming south towards the lighthouse as the headland and the keeper’s cottages are more visible from that direction.
