My intention is to keep adding to the collection. I’m constantly out sketching and drawing this fascinating country of ours and I hope in time to have a poster for each county, north and south and for most of the larger towns in between.

A bit of history

“I’m looking at the river, but I’m thinking of the sea”. Randy Newman’s lyrics could well have been written for the tower of Lloyd. 20 km inland at Kells, county Meath, the tower was in fact built in the style of a lighthouse, but as a viewing platform for the Earl to see his ships coming in at Carlingford and to view the horseracing nearby.
